The creative process is complex and requires a lot of practice and study.
When something comes to your mind, you have to reflect it and it is not always easy to capture on canvas what you have imagined.
To summarise a little, the steps to make a drawing would be: make the sketch, then make the inking choosing the lines that you like the most and finally colour it.
Lately I’ve been practising new lights and shadows to get away from my old style. It is complicated and requires studying the lights and you have to know what colour to apply to give it the touch that integrates the drawing in the scenery.
Little by little I’m going to improve to be able to bring better illustrations both on patreon and on youtube (wallpapers).
